When Henry Gates Jr. appeared on Stephen Colbert, I thought he was gonna talk about
that arrest happened in Boston and the Beer Summit. Apparently he came to the show with
different reason, and I was sold.

Basically, they selected socially renowned 12 people, and explored their family histories
with the latest tools of genealogy and genetics. It's really early to say anything about
this show, because it's only aired one episode so far. However it was a fascinating
journey through generation to generation, I think it will be more interesting to see
as the show reveals more histories about these people.

It premiered the first episode on 10th Feb 2010. The first episode is available on PBS website.
